The NoName is a Chinese punk rock institution over 20 years running. Anthemic sing-a-long punk in the vein of 90s skate punk, strike anywhere or the casualties.
CUIDADO consists of members of Big D and the Kids Table, Reel Big Fish, Morphine, The Doped Up Dollies & DREXEL. Labeled as 'Panic-Rock', it can be described as Beastie Boys punk w/ saxaphones
People often think a ‘scene’ has to strictly be in their own town or city, but the ‘scene’ is global. When CUIDADO formed, we reached out to our good friend Ray, from The NoName Band in China, to talk about how we could help each others bands. We came up with a few ideas - do a split record together, help each other get our full length records out in our two different countries and also tour together in our two different countries. Ray and I would talk every night (day for him) planning. Flood from Asbestos records heard what was going on and because he is always down for a creative challenge, he said he would put the split to press. Now, Ray and I are working towards are other goals. Please support CUIDADO & The NoName Band; We are both DIY, hungry, persistent and explosive.
